Welcome to the Office of the Chairman of The Southern Independence Party of Texas.

The Southern Party of Texas (SPT) was formed to give Texans a party with a completely different approach to government. We do not intend to field a candidate for President of the United States! Isn't that a novel idea?

Why not, you ask? Because, constitutionally speaking, the presidency is without real power.

The real constitutional power resides with the Congress, Judiciary, States and the people. We, the people, have failed in our duties to the Constitution. That is the primary reason we find ourselves under attack on every front, from our religious freedom to our right to own and protect our property.

The SPT belongs to an affiliation of Southern States that intend to return to block voting to ensure our voices are heard and heeded. The Democrats did this very effectively, until they were taken over by the forces of Northern Socialism. The Republicans have been cowed to the point they are totally ineffectual at governing, even when they have the majority. The Socialization of the Nation continues unabated.

By voting, as a block, the Southern States have the very unique opportunity to reverse this trend and return Constitutional government to the people, where it rightfully belongs.
